Privacy
Short version: your photos never leave your device, the domains you check are not stored by us, and we never sell personal data.

Photos (background remover)
The background remover runs entirely in your browser. The AI model is downloaded to your device and your photos are processed there. We never receive, see or store your images. The model file is kept in your browser's cache so the tool is faster next time; clear site data to remove it.
Email checks
When you check a domain, your browser asks public DNS-over-HTTPS services (Cloudflare, with Google as a backup) for that domain's public DNS records. Those services see the lookup and your IP address, as they would for any website you visit; see Cloudflare's resolver privacy policy and Google Public DNS privacy. Results are shown in your browser; we do not receive or store them. A shared report link contains the domain name, so only share it with people you want to see it.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous usage counts (for example "a cut-out was made", "a check was run"), with page and country | To see which features help people | 13 months |
| Your email address (and the domain, for alerts), only if you type it into a form and tick the box | To send what you asked for: launch notes, alerts, the API waitlist, or a quote from one expert you agreed to | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it |
| Purchase details, only if you buy | Handled by our payment reseller; we receive your email, plan and licence key | As long as tax law requires |
We use cookie-free analytics. Usage counts never include image contents, file names or check results.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, EEA and UK), we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from the "Privacy and cookie settings" link on the page. Manage personalised ads at Google Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Partner offers
Some pages show labelled offers from partners. If you click one, the partner may set its own cookies to know you came from us. See how we make money.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to hello@toolpeasy.pages.dev. In the EU, EEA or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
