How it works
- Add a photo. Drag it in, paste it, or pick it from your phone or computer.
- The AI finds the subject. A segmentation model runs on your device's graphics chip or processor and draws a soft mask around people, products, animals and objects.
- Pick a background and download. Transparent PNG, white for marketplaces, or any colour. The download keeps your original resolution.
Tips for a cleaner cut-out
- Use the largest photo you have. More pixels give the model more edge detail, especially for hair and fur.
- Good contrast helps. A dark product on a light wall cuts out better than black on black.
- On a laptop or desktop with a recent browser, switch to Best edges for fine hair, see-through fabric and complex outlines.
- For marketplace listings, choose a white background and a square canvas. Amazon, eBay and Etsy all favour clean white backgrounds for main photos.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free at full resolution?
Yes. Each image is free at its original size, with no watermark and no account. We earn money from optional passes for big batches, ZIP downloads and store-ready presets, from ads on this page, and from clearly labelled partner offers.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The model is downloaded to your browser and the cut-out happens on your device. You can check: after the first image, turn off Wi-Fi and it still works.
What is the largest image I can use?
About 16 megapixels (for example 4,000 × 4,000). Larger photos are scaled down to fit your browser's memory limit, and we tell you when that happens.
Why is the first image slower?
The first time, your browser downloads the AI model (about 44 MB for Fast). It is saved on your device, so later images start straight away, even offline.
Can I use the result commercially?
Yes. The output is yours, as long as you have the rights to the original photo.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, in current Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. Phones are slower than computers because the model runs on the phone itself.
